Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty

The LED lighting products we sell and install are covered by the manufacturer’s limited warranty. This warranty generally covers defects in materials for a specified period as determined by the manufacturer. If a product fails due to a defect covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer will replace the defective fixture at no cost upon inspection and approval. The manufacturer retains sole discretion in determining whether a product qualifies for replacement or reimbursement.

Exclusions & Limitations

The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover failures caused by external conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Power surges, voltage fluctuations, or electrical outages
  • Improper electrical wiring or installation by third parties
  • Exposure to extreme environmental conditions such as moisture, heat, or corrosive elements
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, misuse, or physical impact
  • Normal wear and tear

Labor & Service Costs

While the LED fixture may be replaced under the manufacturer’s warranty, the cost of labor to remove and reinstall the product is not covered. Customers are responsible for any service fees associated with diagnosing, removing, and replacing defective products.

Warranty Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must:

  1. Notify Green Power Lighting Solutions promptly upon discovering a defect.
  2. Provide proof of purchase and installation details.
  3. Allow an inspection by either Green Power Lighting Solutions  or the manufacturer’s representative to determine warranty eligibility.

All warranty decisions, including product replacements or reimbursements, are made solely at the manufacturer’s discretion. Green Power Lighting Solutions is not responsible for manufacturer warranty decisions or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product failures.

By purchasing and installing LED lighting through Green Power Lighting Solutions, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this warranty summary.

PRODUCT ORDERS, CANCELLATIONS, AND RESTOCKING FEES

Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC acts as a supplier, distributor, reseller, and/or contractor for lighting products, fixtures, controls, poles, accessories, and related equipment obtained from various manufacturers and vendors.

All orders placed with Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC are considered custom procurement orders once accepted and processed by the Company. Due to manufacturer production schedules, vendor commitments, freight arrangements, and administrative costs incurred by the Company, any order canceled by the Customer after placement shall be subject to a restocking and cancellation fee equal to forty percent (40%) of the total order value.

The 40% restocking and cancellation fee shall apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, including but not limited to project cancellation, permit denial, changes in project scope, changes in Customer preferences, funding issues, delays, code compliance concerns, or any other circumstance beyond the control of Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC.

The Customer acknowledges that certain products may be custom-made, special-order, non-returnable, discontinued, modified, or otherwise ineligible for return to the manufacturer. In such cases, Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC reserves the right to deny cancellation requests and/or charge additional fees, up to and including the full purchase price of the products, to recover costs incurred by the Company.

Any deposits, prepayments, or progress payments received by Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC may be applied toward outstanding cancellation charges, restocking fees, freight costs, manufacturer penalties, administrative expenses, and any other costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.

No refunds shall be issued until Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC has determined all applicable costs, charges, fees, and manufacturer obligations associated with the canceled order. Any approved refund shall be reduced by all applicable cancellation fees, restocking fees, shipping costs, handling charges, and other expenses incurred by the Company.

By placing an order with Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these cancellation and restocking fee provisions and understands that the Company relies upon such orders when purchasing, reserving, manufacturing, and supplying products on the Customer’s behalf.

CITY ORDINANCE COMPLIANCE DISCLAIMER

Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC provides lighting products, lighting installation services, lighting design assistance, and related consulting services. The Company does not represent, warrant, or guarantee that any proposed lighting products, fixtures, layouts, installations, or lighting designs comply with the ordinances, codes, regulations, permit requirements, zoning restrictions, dark-sky requirements, or other lighting standards of any city, county, municipality, homeowners association, or governmental authority.

The Customer acknowledges and agrees that it is solely the Customer’s responsibility to investigate, verify, and ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, ordinances, permitting requirements, and lighting standards before purchasing products from or engaging the services of Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC.

By accepting a proposal, purchasing products, or contracting with Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC, the Customer assumes full responsibility for determining whether the proposed lighting system, products, fixtures, installation, or design are permitted and compliant within the jurisdiction where the project is located.

Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any fines, penalties, citations, enforcement actions, permit denials, required modifications, removal costs, delays, damages, losses, expenses, or other liabilities arising from or related to a Customer’s failure to comply with any applicable ordinance, code, regulation, permit requirement, or governmental directive.

While Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC may, upon request, provide assistance with lighting layouts, photometric plans, fixture specifications, or related documentation for submission to a governmental authority, such assistance is provided solely as a convenience to the Customer and does not constitute legal, engineering, architectural, code-compliance, or permitting advice. Any layouts, photometric plans, calculations, recommendations, or supporting documentation provided by the Company are subject to review and approval by the applicable governing authority.

The Customer remains solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, approvals, inspections, and compliance determinations required for the project. The Customer further agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Green Power Lighting Solutions LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to the Customer’s failure to verify or comply with any applicable lighting ordinance, code, regulation, permit requirement, or governmental approval process.
